It is not a secret to all that having an internet service has become one of the most important things that you must have, whether it is business use or personal use. Majority of the people all over the civilized countries have been using it for a long time now and it has become a very common thing, even within the residential areas. I remember before, dial ups are the only ones that can be used and I had to constantly find a cheap dial up service because the speed is crazy low and investing on an expensive dial up service is not exactly advisable because you’ll just end up burning your money and still have the same slow connection, until of course, dsl service has been introduced to everyone, which practically made it a lot more convenient to all people around the world. I don’t think I could ever imagine our modern world right now without internet due to its benefits that practically serve us all.

Nowadays, people use it not only for business purposes but for personal usage as well, and there are even more people that use it for the latter reason rather than the former. Of course, it certainly gave common people entertainment by visiting different sites like Youtube and any other streaming media web sites out there that can definitely feed all kinds of craving for entertainment. But the most important thing, I believe, is the benefit that it has given us for communication because it really made things faster and easier for all of us to communicate to anyone in the globe.

Tim Berners Lee’s invention of the “world wide web” has created a revolution in the telecommunication industry. Communication had many transformations from intranet, Internet, dial up connection, email, chat, DSL, ADSL, Broadband, wireless, mobile, satellite broadband, VOIP, etc., The ability of man to send information from one part of the world to another, in this information era is more faster. Almost all the IT giants, ISP’s and telephone companies have invested in billions for the research and development of new technologies to make communication more faster.

High speed broadband is provided to users in various forms like cable broadband, wireless broadband, mobile broadband, and satellite broadband. The broadband suppliers in UK charge the users based on the usage per month. The connection is supplied at a speed of 2 Mbps to a maximum of 20 Mbps. Fiber optic cables through the length and breadth of the country. But statistics say that almost 30% of the population in UK which is more than 17 million, are not connected to a broadband service. Either they do not have a Internet connection or dial out with the analog modems to connect to the Internet. The UK government and the leading broadband suppliers have come up with various new plans, deals, offers and techniques to provide more broadband to the Brits. They have targeted to reach an average of 2 Mbps speed which will serve 100% of the house holds in the country.

Broadband comparisons have been made between the ISP’s several times to identify the best deal with good speed and coverage in the location. But things haven’t changed even after repeated efforts. So few ISP’s have come up to provide broadband service for free. Is it really free?

Free broadband with a high speed is not completely free. Its either provided at a cheaper price or provided free along with a bundle package. Its also termed as cheap broadband. Users if opt to choose digital TV, mobile phone or home phone from the same ISP will be provided with free broadband service. If you are using these services from different providers, then you can subscribe all of them from the same provider which provides a value for money and also enjoy unlimited fast browsing in the Internet. Broadband customers are also offered by free laptops and notebooks as a single package. There are also few deals which pay the line rentals. So users will pay only for the broadband service and not for the BT phone line separately.

But its important for users to do a complete research and broadband comparison before they choose for free broadband, so that they will not fall in a contract. Even after providing many deals there are almost 42% of the adults who do not want an Internet connection from ISP. The reason behind is that they haven’t worked with computers before.

Working on a web site is of course very challenging, even if let’s say you are using a MacBook to support you on your work. The main thing here is to make sure that everything you do would be beneficial to the web site’s traffic. Of course, the more people that type the name of your web site in their URL box, the better. The basics include keywords, where you use the most typical words that people might be searching for, keeping it simple so more people would be interested looking at it, lesser cells and tables as much as possible, creation of good meta tags, most important keywords being placed in the main page of the web site and of course, keeping track of your search engine rankings. There are of course a lot more that you can do but the ones above are very important if you want to see to it that people would visit your site.
